The guitar
Jim Richerson is a retired member of the Helena Music Teachers Association and has performed as a classical guitarist for many years. He has studied with and participated in Master Class courses with such notable guitarists as John Sutherland, David Tannenbaum, Carlos Montoya and Christopher Parkening. His playing style blends the romantic guitar sounds of the Segovia era with masterful interpretations from the history of Spanish guitar. He performs regularly in the Helena area.
Jim is an expert in the teachings and techniques of the great masters of classical guitar. He retired in 2010 and no longer gives private lessons but he does continues to perform locally.
